starting my real grap des job

This past week has been the first week of my first full-time job! I've been working for a watch retailer from home for about 3 years, making websites and magazine ads and the like. Now I'm in the office.. I have my own office, and I am basically the entire art department! This whole "real job" thing is new for me... my parents have always been...

I can illustrate for you

Just so anybody knows, I'm available to illustrate children's books, or magazines, whatever you would like. It seems like what's popular is fantasy, and I've been approached to illustrate a fantasy book, but I turned it down. It is just not true to who I am. I've never been interested in fantasy, and in fact am rather repelled by magic arts. I am...

im great! glad at the same time, im just glad that i didnt take the other job offer: the person who took it resigned after 3 weeks cause he couldnt handle the pressure, he has 18 million usd monthly targets and at least 5 TVC awards annually. ouch.

Pop-ups? that would be fun! Make something comedic! dont run out of inspirations! those are oxygen for artist! but when im running low i usually go to dropular.net for fresh airs and motivation!

The Trick to deliver a superb photograph is easy: Get a beautiful and good model, and you've done 95% of your work;
the other five percent? simple: a softbox and a reflector.

Hey, nice to read your long comment to my blog Emotion: smile.gif.

I think it's a really good idea to sandwich the negative critique between two positives. Have to try that sometime.

true! i was furious!
i mean if someone can take pride in their own country, even my disabled grandmother could do that! just open the gas tap and light it up!

worst of all, the damage is done to more local people! we have a lot of jobless already, doing this will make the situation worst!

wow yea that sounds exciting.
its one of the pivot of life that demands great changes, eh?
moving out, new and first permanent job, even the excitement in shopping for office wear! sounds like handful of fun in one package!

ha! youre finally legal! but drinking age? does anybody follows that? theres reasons why photoshops are invented, and im sure fake ID is part of their huge market Emotion: tongue.gif
not including new types of makeups that can give you raises in age Emotion: tongue.gif

i was born in a border, in a bridge between sweden and denmark. my pops is indonesian, me mum is swedish. been here and there, mainly sweden and danmark, and bali; but since 17, where i ran away with only my cellphone, wallet, atm card, bagpack, and a job confirmation letter to france Emotion: tongue.gif been there and back and forth in south-east asia as well.

got until 15th of august to confirm the job offer Emotion: sad.gif
i actually met the current regional manager, he called me up cause he know i will potentially take over his job. scares the creeps out of me at the same time shows reasons why he resigned. well, hes 55 for a start, got offered for pension, and mentioned "you will deal with crazy people you've never dreamed of, you will be expected to be above what youre capable of, people will think you're a superman while you're just a person in suit and eating your croissant (its a phrase in france for routine or regular/standard). being a superman, or acclaimed to be is exciting, what happens when they expect superpowers which you cant perform?"

that gave me goosebumps, but deep inside i know i want the job.
80% of the board supports me, 20% thinks im ungrateful. well, you can never have them all, right?
